Good place for a home base in Cartagena

Highlight was the young woman working the front desk; she was extraordinarily kind and always had a smile. Breakfast was to order and they had hot chocolate for us non-coffee drinkers. Multiple places to sit and relax; by either pool, in shaded areas, on main floor. Located in heart of Getsemani but on quiet street. AC was nice and strong! Security was good as need to be buzzed into the gate entrance.

I stayed in two different rooms. The smaller room was quite barren and the bathroom so very small. The larger room (with 2 beds) was more luxurious and the bathroom was bigger. Could use a cold water drinking dispenser (has a drinking water tap near the pool on ground floor but could upgrade!)

Great getsemani location

This hotel is in an amazing location in Getsemani. I really liked the breakfast here. We stayed in this hotel twice. Both times we were super comfortable. One of the times we stayed here our room was less good - the shower was cold with hardly any water and the fan kept clicking. The second time we were in a different room and we had no issues at all with the shower or fans. The hotel staff are lovely.

Very nice hotel and location superb for visiting Getsemini and Cartagena.

Room was lovely - needed better and more towels though.

Breakfast options were limited - eggs/ham. More choice would be nice. Tea/coffee making facilities in room would be good.

The lady at reception who checked me in was súper helpful! I was supposed to be meeting a tour group who were not at the supposed designated hotel - and she contacted Ecuador and found out where I was supposed to be! The room/facilities were clean. Air-conditioned! There's choices of pools to swim in! Great location in Getsemani. Breakfast was okay.

The swimming pool at the top, the room were confortable, the staff very nice and helpfull. The location perfect to visit the city.

Noise from the street during night, but it was a quiet street, so it seems it is inevitable a bit of noise in the location so close to all atraction

Friendly staff, great location, quiet and clean, with a nice pool to cool off. great value for money.

While the room has good air conditioning, the bathroom is not well insultated and mosquitos do seem to come in thorough that window.

Highly recommended for expensive town.

Loved the location! Central,but quiet. Cute and very clean. Front desk controls one entrance so security was good. Breakfast was amazing. check in staff very helpful (although limited English).

The tiny pool closes very early. it’s basically closed when you want to use it after a day of walking the city.

beautiful hotel, very calm and peaceful, very clean. staff were very friendly and helpful. pools were lovely and free breakfast was great too.

we coudln't get very hot water in the shower and were a bit dissapointed that we could only use the pools between 9am-6pm.

Great location with close walking but quiet street. Clean and comfortable, good breakfast. They stored our baggage overnight while we went to the Rosario Island

They were doing construction the day we arrived so it was noisy. Pool only open 9am-6pm.

Safe and clean hotel with lovely staff. Quiet and perfect if you like to get up early.

The staff were always very helpful and super lovely. The room was modern, clean and spaceous. There are two pools. The location feels super safe and it is close to everything but far enough from any street noise.

Our room was room 101, which is directly next to where breakfast is served and eaten. Not a problem if you get up early anyway. But if you like to sleep a little longer, try and ask for another room (preferably one on the 2nd floor) as otherwise you‘ll be woken up between 6 and 7 am every day.

Quiet street in lively Getsemani.

Location was perfect: a quiet street in lively Getsemani, with great restaurants in the street. De neighborhood was safe and the old town is only a 10 minutes walk away. We had the best experience with the staff, super helpful and kind and they even made us breakfast after we overslept a bit. The rooftop pool was great, and we enjoyed the skyline at night from the rooftop as well. I even booked an extra night after my partner traveled back home.

The aircon made a bit of noise, but it was actually quite soothing and became white noise in the lively neighborhood. The shower was unpredictable: sometimes cold, sometimes hot.
